1886, Richard Warren Sears began he R.W. Sears Watch Company in Minneapolis.

1887, Sears moved his business to Chicago. Alvah C Roebuck join the corporate..

1893, corporate changed their name "Sears, Roebuck and Co."

 

1895, Sears Roebuck and Co published the catalog over 500 pages.

This catalog offered, clothing, firearms, buggies, bicycles, glassware and almost everything people want to buy.

 

In 1890s, suffering from ill health, Roebuck resigned, although the company still retained his name.

1908,Richard Sears retires as president of the company .

 

1925, Sears opens its first retail stores because in 1920's, many people owned the car and became to be able to go to shopping.

 

Today, Sears Roebuck & CO still be in business.

 

Sears Roebuck & Co have many brands.

"Hercules" is the most popular brand in vintage work clothing.

Railroad jacket, Work Shirt, Overalls, P-Coat, Leather jacket....

Many products were produced by Hercules brand.

 

And Pilgrim, Sturdy Oak, Strong Reliable, Drum Major ,All State, and so on. There were many brands.

 

Such of brands' products were manufactured by several Manufacturers.
